Linmark is a small island country just south of Praul. It is one of the newest nations in Lesser Galwyndor, having come into existence in 1327.1 by seceding from Praul. It is governed by an Equitarchy from the capitol city of Hoelera.
People of Linmark are referred to as being "Linnish".
History
Prior to the Curella outbreak, the island was under control of House Elund and the nation of Praul. It was the first nation to secede and gain its independence in 1327.1.
Geography
Climate and Environment
The island is mostly temperate in climate, and arid. It is tropical in places, and enjoys significant rainfall. Tropical storms from the Borlyphian Ocean can be quite brutal during storm season. It is not a particularly mountainous region, though it does have three volcanoes: Mount Macket, Mount Setilla, and Damidor Peak.
