Note - the years are colloquially shortened to the last four digits, rather than including all five, i.e. the year 11322 would be shortened to 1322. Secondly, the number following the decimal refers to the month, so 1322.2 would denote the 2nd month of the year 11322.

Recent History

• 1322.2 - Curella virus outbreak
• 1323.9 - Rior Jeglund and co assassinate House Doria
• 1324.3 - Ildorian Revolution begins
• 1328.6 - Turmocet vaccine distributed throughout the realm
• 1327.1 - Linmark revolts from Praul, forms Equitarchy
• 1327.5 - Terismark revolts from Aeryl, forms full Preceptocracy
• 1327.8 - Ildorian Revolution ends, Ildoria forms limited Preceptocracy, Red Ravenhelm goes into exile
• 1328.1 - Letania and Kestrinal combine to form Scurn
• 1329.2 - Vralius assassinates all members of House Reddick, frames Wuerlan
• 1329.2 - Clavic Empire begins its conquest, declares war on Wuerlan
• 1331.5 - Wuerlan conquered
• 1332.4 - Praul falls back to The Rorhold
• 1332.8 - Phoros conquered by Clavermark
• 1333.1 - Adoxipham first appears

Ages of Galwyndor

There have been six major ages in Galwyndor's history, each marked by a cataclysm, each named by the prevailing theme of the times.

6th Age

5th Age

Main article: Age of Chaos

(04887-11322)

The Age of Chaos was the longest age, which lasted from the beginning of the 5th Great War (04887) until the Black Sam epidemic (11322). It was called the Age of Chaos because the world had been thrust into a state of chaos brought about by famine, drought, climate change, etc. The struggle for survival thrust the world into a state of predominantly intellectual and technological darkness (it was much like the Dark Ages.

4th Age

Main article: Age of Temperance

(03259-04887)

The Age of Temperance was the period of time from the end of the 3rd Great War (03259) until well after the end of The Great Purge (which was the reason for the 4th Great War) (03626) with the beginning of the 5th Great War (04887). It was called the Age of Temperance because of the backlash caused by the 3rd Great War and the desire to exterminate all the magic from the world.

3rd Age

Main article: Age of Empires

(01977-03259)

The Age of Empires was the period of time from the end of the 2nd Great War until the end of the 3rd Great War (01977-03259). It was called the Age of Empires because of the empirical theme to warfare during this time. The destruction caused by the 3rd Great War immediately prompted The Great Purge, which simultaneously resulted in the 4th Great War.

2nd Age

The Age of Alliance was the period of time from the end of the 1st Great War until the end of the 2nd Great War (01242 - 01977). It was called the Age of Alliance because of the social, economic, and politic intricacies employed throughout the war. Not much blood was shed during the 2nd Great War.

1st Age

Main article: Age of Uprising

The Age of Uprising was the period of time up to the end of the 1st Great War, when Aery II slew Gethalyn (the year 01242). It is called the Age of Uprising because the war was motivated by a desire to overcome oppression.
