Treylin Greyfell is the Sceratus of the Night Helm. He is most noted for leading the rebellion during the Ildorian Revolution. Following the revolution, he went into exile with the remaining Violet Helm members and currently acts as a freelance mercenary in The Verges, where he goes by the alias Mr. Slate. He attended Mader-Chackett College at an early age, where he earned a poetship, something which his men do not know about him.
Ravenhelm
He first joined the Ildorian army after graduation from college at age 16, which he hated. Seeing that soldiers in the Ravenhelm enjoyed more freedom and prestige, he put in a request for consideration in that unit at his first opportunity. A year into his military career, he was selected to try out. He spent another two years in the Secondary Helm, and failed to earn a spot on one of the teams on three separate occasions. He earned a spot on the Blood Helm on his fourth try, where he served for three years before being chosen to fill a spot on the Star Helm team. From there he worked his way up to Praelitus, and was promoted directly to Sceratus when the two officers in the Star Helm decided to pass on an opening to lead Night Helm.
While as commander of the Violet Helm, the Ildorian Revolution happened, where he found himself in a unique position of being able to lead the revolt, as the other three Scerati were killed during in the early days of the coup. He ultimately had to escape execution with the other remaining members of his team, who all fled to the Verges.
