The Runesworn were one of the major magic institutions before the Great Purge. Its flagship institution was the Academy of Runes.
Trademark Style
The Runesworn took great pride in being masters of enchantment through rune work. They stressed extreme precision with regard to the shape of each rune, believing that an imprecise glyph carried less power. For this reason many students did not advance beyond the initial teaching of the academy, which was entirely made up of learning to write glyphs to perfection. Only after pupils had mastered this could they begin learning to imbue them with magic.
