Rendella Winter is the casemaster of Outrider Station 727 in Camp Drystone. She first appears in Path of the Outrider with Edulon Dane. She inadvertently leads to Talmage's capture by Bor Lerich and Sleika when they notice she has possession of Talmage's 3A-17 bracelet. She was once married to a singer named Derinn, who died of a sudden aneurism while she was away on a run.
Death
She sacrifices herself by calling up a secret failsafe with her vault during a visit by Lieutenant Cash Delton, who was searching for Serika.
After Derinn's death, Rendella put in a request to be a casemaster so she could raise Amly Winter. She raised her from inside the outrider station in Ostenton until she became an apprentice outrider, where Rendella transferred to Camp Drystone.
