Ostenton is a coastal city in western Aeryl. It has one of the busiest ports in the region along with Laceport, Wuera, and Dretch. It derives its name from the word osten, which means "wet" in High Vinthish. This is because it experiences heavy rainfall, on average of 240 out of 297 days per year.
History
In antiquity, the city was called Barocae.
