A Sceratus is a rank found in Ildorian Ravenhelm paramilitary units. It is roughly equivalent to that of Captain. Each Ravenhelm unit has one Sceratus, who is in charge of that unit. Second in command is the Calitus. The word is named after the first month of the year, Scera.
