Lady Derywin was assassinated in 1329 by poison, which was thought to be perpetrated by a wealthy merchant named [[Stalivar Olgard]], who had been working with Lord Wilton in the hopes that he would help him attain a Lordship under [[House Jerinsen]]. Before the deal could be finalized, Wilton chose instead to help [[Danther of Burling]] attain the title.

House Auvrey is a vassal to House Jerinsen. They govern a small portion of Northern Thaste from their estate at Stundorf Hall in Kericho. Its emblem is a black lighthouse over a shield of sky blue with a backdrop of darker blue.

Following the assassination of his second wife, Lord Wilton secretly sent his daughter off to Fellstone Citadel to learn the ways of the Arkaeni. His son was sent to be a ward of King Jogan 6 vig Jerinsen.
