The flidfish is a saltwater species and is also a fairly commonly eaten, mostly along coastlines. It is easily distinguished by its bright green stripes and white specks. According to an ancient Creation Myth, the flidfish is said to have been the first fish, much like the etherwood tree is said to have been the first tree.
