In Dreadgate, there are six different crafts, or decks, that can be played. Each craft has its own color and specialty:
Crafts
Artifice Craft - the Artifice Craft uses the color grey and has a greater focus on deception and manipulation to achieve its goals.
Champion Craft - the Champion craft uses the color green and has a greater focus on military might to achieve its goals.
Divine Craft - the Divine craft uses the color blue and has a greater focus on divine intervention, protection, and healing to achieve its goals.
Engineering Craft - the Engineering Craft uses the color red and has a greater focus on machine and weapons crafting to achieve its goals.
Hinter Craft - the Hinter Craft uses the color orange and has a greater focus on using wild creatures and nature to achieve its goal.
Sorcery Craft - the Sorcery craft uses the color violet and has a greater focus on magical spells, summoning creatures, and destructive power to achieve its goals.
Universals
While each craft contains cards unique to that craft, there are also universal cards that can be used by any craft. These cards are brown in color. Brown units do not require a hero. See:
