Rawgrass

Rawgrass is a type of rough wild grass that grows in arid climates such as the Verges and Goldenmark. These are plants characterized by long, narrow leaves having sharp, often serrated (sawtooth-like) blades. It can be eaten by local wildlife such as the Twisthorn Calug, but for livestock such as haerses, it is not preferable. This is why Outriders often carry oats or other fare for their animals when traversing such terrain.
