The twisthorn calug is a type of horned artiodactyl (even-toed, hoofed) mammal native to Clavermark and other prairie regions, with some even ranging into the Verges. They are named so because their horns are twisted, and they grow continuously, unlike deer that shed the antlers. Only the males have horns.
