The belderwood tree is noted for its bright red leaves, which remain so year round. The tree produces excellent wood for crafting. It is said to be good luck to find the leaf of a belderwood tree where one is not nearby, and keeping it in your pocket will prolong one's life because the leaves don't change color.
The city of Redhaven in Gruenormark is named after the belderwood tree.
