There are a number of different systems for measuring things in the Everwind universe. Some depend on the culture, geographic, or political areas of interest.
Distance
As for traveling distance, there are two common methods:
- Days - most commonly used in the Verges, distant places are often measured loosely by how many days away they are on horseback. An example of this is the settlement Two Days, which is a two-day ride from Everwind City.
- Throds - One throd is equal to a thousand rods, which is a unit of measure made popular in Andermark.
