The Martyr, also called the "4 of Blues", is the fourth card in the Suit of Blues in a deck of Atlicana Cards. The cards are mostly used to play Atlicana. Being the suit of Reds, this card begins the transformation from the young and innocent, where it can gain wisdom and experience to become The Mother. From there it will progress to its highest form and become The Widow.

"The Martyr card symbolizes the ultimate sacrifice. First, there is the woman lashed to a pole, being burned at the stake. To her left is a moth, the symbol of death, yet to her right is the butterfly, the symbol of rebirth. Her sacrifice will transform her and give her greater power than she ever had before. Above the word "Atlicana" are two length of rope, symbolizing a binding of an inescapable fate.
