An Equitarchy is one of the new forms of government that arose out of the chaos following the Curella plague. Linmark is an equitarchy. Compared to the real world, it is a mix of democracy and a republic. In the equitarchy, representatives are voted into office, where their job is to draft measures and proposals and present these ideas to the populace. The populace then votes on each measure.
