A midsword is the most common weapon throughout the lands of Lesser Galwyndor. It is named so for its length, which is longer than a short sword, but shorter than a longsword. They came into popularity when the world began to experience widespread famine. Since energy conservation became a priority, warriors needed a lighter weapon but wanted longer reach than a short sword could provide.
