Everwind Series

Everwind is a noir science fiction/fantasy series of eight books by Janden Hale. The series takes place on a post-apocalyptic world called Galwyndor, where characters struggle for survival on a dying planet against the advance of a ruthless empire, the aftermath of a devastating plague called the Black Sam, famine, poverty, slavery, and the clutches of a sinister magical drug called Dox.
