They performed blessings, enchantments, and ceremonies, as well as healing and protection. They also drove out evil spirits and performed oracles.

It was the Guild who got the Ygwer Code adopted as a universal standard of behavior amongst the schools, as the code was in use since the inception of the Ygwer School of Clerics.
