Dreya Helvidge is a one of the main protagonists of Dawn of the Last Bullet, who first appears in book one of the Everwind Series when her mother, Serika Swiftmaker, gives birth to her in the remote enclave of Overvale. Serika was a test subject of Dr. Talmage in the secret facility known as Wornspire, who was the only "carrier" to escape during the Seen-and-See Cult's massacre. Her father was Markem Goodsmith, a seeder who became a subject at Wornspire.
She is born in Overvale, and soon after her mother nearly dies. She is brought up in Overvale as the granddaughter of the fictional Mister Helvidge.
