Subchapters, otherwise known as short stories, are stories that expand upon the events and situations of the books in the Everwind Series. Each subchapter expands upon the previous one, working backwards in time; the Everwind books all work forward through time. For example, Wornspire, Subchapter One, covers a period of time exactly one day before the events of Path of the Outrider, which is book one. Grimhall, Subchapter Two, describes events that took place leading up to those in Wornspire.
