The Facility is the first short story by Janden Hale for the Everwind Series. It covers the events in the lives of the Carriers at the Wornspire facility exactly one day prior to the start of Outrider. Hale put the story out to explain more about the facility that appears in Outrider, as not much detail appears in that story.
