The Akona is the main religious text of Catican. It consists of several books contained within, it:

Book of Seeds - an account of how the ideology came about, mostly regarding the ascendance of a mysterious acolyte named Shein
Book of Whispers - on communication
Book of Flames - on dealing with emotion
Book of Stones - on dealing with common obstacles
Book of Thorns - on self-defense and aggression, both internal and external
Book of the Moon - on death and memories (Lies)
Book of the Sun - on knowledge and reason (Truth)
Book of Tides - on change, habit, discipline
Book of Spiders - on awareness, observation, and mindfulness
