Outrider is the first book in the Everwind Series by Janden Hale. It is due out in 2013.
Description
A pregnant woman, known as a Carrier, narrowly escapes from a secret medical testing facility and falls into the hands of the Outriders, a group of highly skilled couriers. They must transport her to safety while she is hunted by her previous captors, Crimson slavers who would use her for human breeding, mercenaries out to make a profit, and the desolate wasteland itself.
