The dwarfs were initially one peoples, but like the elves, splintered into different groups as they expanded to explore new areas. Mostly this was caused by an invasion of humans known as the Ganennites. One main group moved east to form the kingdom of Maldenon, while another migrated west to form Krenvia.
Dwarfs were typically smaller and thicker in stature than their human counterparts, with coarse hair and fingernails. Unlike elves, who do not have the ability to grow facial hair, dwarfen culture demands that they grow beards.
