Cauthria was an island country in southern Greater Galwyndor during the time of the Great Purge. Ruled by the Cauthrians, a race of half-elves (half-human, half-elf), it was one of the most prosperous kingdoms. It was made up of sixteen islands, which were known as the Dragonsback Isles. Like the elves, the Cauthrians were killed off during the Purge because they had magic in their blood.
