Salarian is a common type of folk medicine/religion that predominantly focuses on the use of herbs and natural remedies, but also very basic elements of folk magic, such as through the use of candles, charms and spells, cartomancy and other fortune telling techniques. It differs from the similar system of Catican, which is also includes polytheism, though is not nearly as popular.
