A VAPERlite is an energy gauntlet (advanced portable assault weapon) designed by Burling & Mason Technologies, which combines the energy gauntlet concept with the versatility of the VAPER arm rig. Only three prototypes of the VAPERlite gauntlet were made.
The glove is powered by standard protocells, and is capable of emitting energy for use in force protection, crowd control, or administration of lethal force, and only the VAPERlite is capable of more than one effect (other energy gauntlets are only capable of a single type of effect). Like the VAPER predecessor, the VAPERlite gauntlet requires VEC ammunition.
