The Celestial Lay is one of several planes of existence, which was inadvertently created when the god Drend made the sun. As a result, the sun gives of itself to the Celestial Lay, and because the Celestial Lay is more vivid and beautiful than all the others, the celestials chose to make this lay their primary residence.
