(Redirected from Wrist rack)
the Anderman T43R

A wrist rack is a firearm device that attaches around the wrist and fires from the top, which was first developed by the Anderman Company in 11211. Most of them are energy weapons that require protocells for power, and some are capable of taking VEC variable cartridges. All of the companies that made these pre-plague have since gone out of business, so name-brand wrist racks are a good find. For this reason, one is likely to announce the make and model of the wrist rack they are wearing to potential threats as way of garnering respect or intimidation. Wrist racks are the most common energy weapon; hand-held energy weapons (what would be like an earthly pistol) were experimented with and quickly fell out of favor. A rack enables one to hold other things and still fire the weapon. Heavier models tend to require more proto-power, though they also deliver more energy per discharge.

History

The first wrist rack design made by the Anderman Company was the Anderman G11 in 11211, which was bulky and carried a limited 5-shot cartridge. The model number, in this instance, refers to the year it was developed.
