The Venneras are a range of mountains in mainland Ildoria. They are nicknamed the "Rosebeard Mountains" after the Battle of the Venneras that took place there sometime in the middle of the Age of Chaos. Accounts on both sides of the battles report that there was so much blood in the snow after four days of fighting, it could be seen from several leagues away. The blood resembled a red beard on one of the peaks (see Rosebeard Peak).
