Svir Sorren was a technology magnate prior to the Curella years who now serves as the Speaker of the Assembly for the New Preceptic State of Terismark. He has served since the state's inception and is currently in his fourth term.<ref>Terin Holfair (2013) Sorren Reelected for Fourth Term</ref>
He has an illegitimate son named Arper Shore by the courtesan Auvrey Shore. Arper is a ward of House Gaulff, which was a deal made so that a young Mander Gaulff could garner a position in Sorren's council. The deal worked out in everyone's favor, as Sorren mostly wanted to get rid of Arper.
