Linmark is a small island country just south of Praul. It is one of the newest nations in Lesser Galwyndor, having come into existence in 1327.1 by seceding from Praul. It is governed by an Equitarchy from the capitol city of Hoelera.
People of Linmark are referred to as being "Linnish".
History

Prior to the Curella outbreak, the island was under control of House Elund and the nation of Praul. It was the first nation to secede and gain its independence in 1327.1 following the Sonnerly Uprising.
Geography
Climate and Environment
The island is mostly temperate in climate, and arid. It is tropical in places, and enjoys significant rainfall. Tropical storms from the Borlyphian Ocean can be quite brutal during storm season. It is not a particularly mountainous region, though it does have three volcanoes: Mount Macket, Mount Setilla, and Damidor Peak.

Linmark is governed by an Equitarchy from the capitol city of Hoelera. It seceded from Praul due to the mismanagement of the crisis during the epidemic, and strove to replace the monarchy with a newer system.

Andermark is an ally. Clavermark became an ally after its takeover of much of the southern regions of Praul, especially due to having control over Sonn Dathri's sister port at Sonn Sethur.

Linmark considers Praul a rival despite attempts at establishing a working relationship by the ruling House Elund.

The most prevalent agricultural production in Linmark revolves around beans, wheat, sugar cane, and pell.

Transportation, specifically imports and exports, is the largest industry, given the size of the largest port in Sonn Dathri.

Culture
Linnish are generally happy people in temperament, and very fond of music and dancing. They prefer intricate drum music, and dislike simpler drum rhythms of places in the north.
