Lord Jamesen of Erbane was a vassal to the House Glengard prior to the Clavic expansion.
When General Vralius exterminated Glengard, he offered all of Glengard's vassals a chance to swear allegiance to him; Jamesen was the only vassal who refused. As a result, the entire family of House Erbane was killed and all their lands and assets were given over to House Balter.
Death
Lord Jamesen was executed by agents of General Vralius upon refusal to swear fealty. Jamesen was the first of the family to die; he was hung by a rope and disemboweled simultaneously while the others looked on. They met similar fates using what is called a Norwyndor Daisy Chain.
