Altinus Turmo was the Aerylite biologist who discovered the vaccine for the Curella virus, which he called Turmocet. He was immediately hailed as a saint. He was murdered, however, on the 12th of Scera by an angry mob after the discovery that his vaccine caused infertility.
The 12th of Scera is called Antinus Turmo Day and many people celebrate it by having promiscuous sex in defiance of Altinus Turmo.
