Clavermark is the largest nation by land mass in Lesser Galwyndor, and is one of the newest, coming into existence just following the Curella epidemic. It is ruled by the House Claverian from the seat at Victurus. It is also called the Clavic Empire, which launched its conquest in the second month of the year AV 7, first attacking the nation of Wuerlan. Clavermark is one of only two nations known to have a Vurg advisor, the other one being Andermark.

People of Clavermark are referred to as being "Clavic".

Allies

Allied with Linmark to the south due to their secession from Praul. The Empire also gives them a discount when it comes to trade via the two sister ports. The Empire is also allied with Terismark to the far north, but mostly on a friendly basis, as the two leaders see something of themselves in the other.

All nations are rivaled with Clavermark, except the above-mentioned and Goldenmark.

History

Clavermark came into being in 1329.2 when Vralius Claverian conquered Wuerlan (technically conquering Faramark first (same year and month). Next conquered was Phoros, followed by a portion of Praul.

1329.2 - Clavic Empire begins its conquest, declares war on Wuerlan
1329.5 - Victurus Palace begins construction
1331.5 - Wuerlan conquered
1331.7 - Arkaeni are funded to work for Emperor
1332.1 - Talmage starts working for the Emperor
1332.2 - Victurus Palace completed
1332.4 - Praul falls back to The Rorhold
