Orilac the Wise was a Draol magicker and Grandmage of the Draol Order at the time of the Great Purge. He was considered the most powerful of the Draol. He disappeared during the Purge in EE 5,372 and was thought to have been killed, making Atury, the Glyphmaster, the last remaining Draol.

Where Atury failed to create the Keldra Gateway spell properly, Orilac succeeded, bringing a small number of followers with him. He retreated across the sea to the Atlica Mountains, where he established the remote settlement of Overvale. He created the korix to ward off intruders who would try to reach Overvale through the caverns. |
