
The Artifice craft is one of five playable card decks in Glyphmaster's Gateway. It is grey and prefers to use deception, trickery, and manipulation to accomplish its aims.

Artifice Glyphs
The glyphs used by Artifice:
- Affliction - pick 1 card from each enemy player's hand at random. They must now discard it.
- Chaos - all players must return their hand to the bottom of their deck and draw that number of cards from the top.
- Deceit - swap any friendly units on the battlefield with ones from your hand.
- Fear - all enemy units in play are returned to their owner's hand, along with attached equipment. Attached spells and abilities are discarded.
- Persuasion - move all enemy units in play anywhere on the battlefield.

Artifice Spells and Abilities
- Cunning Donation - Attach to enemy unit. That unit gains +1 to either attack or defense, and -1 to the other.
- Dark Mirror - Attached unit swaps stats with any unit they attack while they attack.
- Devious Plan - Look at the top 3 cards of your deck. Place them back onto the top of the deck in any order.
- Entice - Bring an enemy unit one space closer to one of your units.
- Forged Orders - 1 enemy unit from the battlefield is swapped with 1 unit from its owner's hand. If there is no unit in hand, send 1 unit back to owner's hand.
- Infection - Attach to enemy unit. This unit cannot maneuver.
- Misinformation - Instant - Move a unit under attack to an adjacent square.
- Nightmare - Opponent must discard one card and place it on the bottom of the deck.
- Quid Pro Quo - Attach to enemy unit. If that unit enters the Gateway, it must take a friendly unit with it.
- Ruthless Betrayal - Instant. Sacrifice a friendly unit to keep another unit alive.
- Sabotage - Instant - destroy one enemy unit as it is placed on the battlefield.
- Sleeping Death - Kill one of the enemy units in an opponent's hand. Your opponent picks which one. If no units are in hand, discard Sleeping Death.
- Turncoat - Enchant Ability. Opponent discards 1 card for every unit they kill while Turncoat is in play.
Artifice Base Deck Equipment
- Curiosity Cabinet - any units on the battlefield may swap equipment at any time while Curiosity Cabinet is equipped.
- Elixir of Youth - attached unit returns to your hand if it is killed.
- Elven Amethyst - attached unit gains protection from Champion spells and abilities.
- Lullaby Fiddle - return 1 equipped piece of enemy equipment to its owner's hand per round while Lullaby Fiddle is equipped.
- Morvidian Basket - attached unit may equip any number of items.
- Outlandish Tapestry - attached unit acquires the abilities of any adjacent unit while Outlandish Tapestry is equipped.
- Reltath's Dagger - attached unit gains +1 attack damage. Return Reltath's Dagger to your deck if attached unit is killed.
- Vinthish Boots - attached unit gains +1 movement range.
