Rigel's Gate

Rigel's Gate is the only known pass through the Atlica Mountains large enough to permit transport (other passes exist, but only accommodate foot travel or limited access). It is located on the eastern side, near the coastline, and it heavily guarded by Anderian troops, as it accesses a series of intricate caverns which lead to the stronghold Deepwall. The pass is also notoriously treacherous, and climbing gear is required in many places, rendering it useless for passage of large forces and substantive supplies.
