The Apprentice, also called the "2 of Reds", is the second card in the Suit of Reds in a deck of Atlicana Cards. The cards are mostly used to play Atlicana, but they are sometimes used in fortune telling. Being the suit of Reds, this card has begun the journey of learning a tradecraft as the Apprentice, where it gained skill and proficiency as The Smith. From there it will progress to mastery and become The Alchemist.
Features
"The Apprentice card is filled with traditional Galwyndorian symbolism surrounding craftsmanship. First, there is the prominent anvil and hammer in the center, along with tongs. These are the tools of the trade for a blacksmith. Surrounding these are four nails, which represent permanence. Two flames represent creation. Above and below are two horseshoes to represent the smith's skill facilitating movement.
