Dreadgate is outlined to be third and last book in the Everwind Series by Janden Hale. It will be made up of Dawn of the Last Bullet and Return of the Draol. This book deals concludes the series with the culmination of everything. The Clavic Empire begins its final campaign into Andermark to secure control over the byrridium mines. Dreya embarks upon her own quest. Meanwhile, during all of this, the Draol mage Atury returns from the ages with the power to absorb all the magic contained within the Eari Stones.

Description

With the closing events from Shadows of the Culler upon them, Master Ald must make a decision. He sends Dreya and Gerrod out of Overvale with instructions to take a bullet, as she is meant to "lay low the master." Gerrod is to protect her, however, he is not to use magic. They emerge from the caverns in The Verges and find themselves in a strange land. They embark on a treacherous path to stop the Emperor from taking over Andermark.

After the final battle of DLB, the world faces a new threat: the powerful sorcerer Atury has returned through the Dreadgate and begins extracting all the magic contained within the Eari Stones. Gunther Stormloft and a small band of soldiers from the time of the Befores, who pursue him, must amass an army to face Atury, who has now become public enemy number one.
