Description

A pregnant woman named Serika, known as a Carrier, narrowly escapes a massacre at a secret medical testing facility called Wornspire. In a last-ditch effort to save her life, the facility's administrator places her into the care of the Outriders, a group of highly skilled couriers. Her Outrider escort, a rugged man named Edulon Dane, must transport her to safety while she is hunted by her previous captors (the Clavic Empire), Crimson slavers who would use her for human breeding, mercenaries out to make a profit, and the desolate wasteland itself.
