Saer Briddick Tranton is a courtier for the Queen of Averia, and he serves as a general counsel in the Royal Court of Advisors for House Sable. He does not come from noble peerage, but his family is considered to be landed gentry, as they own considerable properties in Eltry, Yace, Tenford, and neighboring rural areas.
He first appears in Grimhall (subchapter) when Rinden Dane and his companions attempt to meet with him. He is late for their meeting, and Santra Flauro ends up entertaining them in his stead. He again appears in Snowleaf (subchapter), to attend to Queen Caliana of Sable prior to embarking for Terismark to meet Dane and co.
