A slaughterhouse is an illicit place where bandits, sometimes the Crimson, bring people to harvest their flesh for consumption.

In Legion of Liberty (subchapter), Kes, a member of the Legion of Liberty, is captured by Crimson thugs and brought to one, where the rest of his group has to rescue him. While there, they rescue other victims, including Anya, the protagonist of The Facility (subchapter).
