A Valurian is an enlisted rank in the Averian military. It is roughly the equivalent of a Sergeant. There are a few Valurian ranks leading up to Valurian Major. The abbreviation for Valurian is Vln. The rank above Vln. is Valurian 1st Class. The rank below Vln. is Corporal.
The Valurian chevron is composed of two black stripes with one rocker and snowleaf inside a gold border.
