A Cavaneer is the lowest rank found in the Averian military. It is roughly the equivalent of a Private. There are a few Cavaneer ranks leading up to Corporal and then several iterations of the Valurian rank. The abbreviation for Cavaneer is Cvr. The rank above Cvr. is Cavaneer 1st Class.
The Cavaneer chevron is composed of one black stripe inside a gold border.
