Ancient mythology holds that the winged horse Thurreliot was created by [[Skulf]], the god of chaos, as a way to ruin a bet between [[Drend]] and [[Orend]] (gods of earth and air) as to who had the most majestic creature. As a result of this, Drend and Orend came together to create dragons as a way to spurn Skulf. Thurreliot was later killed by two of these winged lizards to teach Skulf a lesson. Because of this, it was Skulf who disclosed the weaknesses of dragons to mortal men, who would then go on to hunt dragons for sport. Skulf tried to do the same for the [[dwarves]], but being that they had strong ties to Drend, the dwarves developed a liking for dragons, often using dragon's fire to forge stronger weaponry. | Ancient mythology holds that the winged horse Thurreliot was created by [[Skulf]], the god of chaos, as a way to ruin a bet between [[Drend]] and [[Orend]] (gods of earth and air) as to who had the most majestic creature. Mythology
Ancient mythology holds that the winged horse Thurreliot was created by Skulf, the god of chaos, as a way to ruin a bet between Drend and Orend (gods of earth and air) as to who had the most majestic creature. Skulf tried to do the same for the dwarves, but being that they had strong ties to Drend, the dwarves developed a liking for dragons, often using dragon's fire to forge stronger weaponry, with some dwarves even going so far as to become dragonriders.
