The Cauthrians were the inhabitants of the land of Cauthria, made up of several islands in the southern waters. It was ruled by a mixed race of elves and humans called Meninar. There were also humans and Druinor that inhabited the lands also.
Skills
They were known predominantly for their seafaring, much like their rumored Veninor forebears. As consummate navigators, they were believed to have discovered many uninhabited islands and remote locations throughout the world. Many of the best maps of the ancient world were of Cauthrian make.
They were also recognized for skill of craftsmanship, especially engineering and weaponry. This is likely due to valuing curiosity, learning, and experimentation as a culture. These traits, combined with a love of travel, put them in a prime position to learn from a variety of cultures.
