Groachers or grow-poachers are people who poach plantlife, as opposed to those who illegally hunt animals. They mostly raid guarded orchards and fields, as crops are typically prized possessions now that vegetation is difficult to grow. In addition to pillaging food from guarded sources, groachers will also harvest rare and exotic plants, such as the etherwood tree, for use in snake oil talismans and other fraudulent enterprises.
