He has an illegitimate son named Arper Shore by the courtesan Auvrey Shore. Arper is a ward of House Gaulff, which was a deal made so that a young Mander Gaulff could garner a position in Sorren's council. The deal worked out in everyone's favor, as Sorren mostly wanted to get rid of Arper.
